"Where I Want to Be...."

Is definitely not here!!! Winter and I have a love/hate relationship. I love how peaceful and beautiful the snow looks while making its entrance but I HATE the freezing temps associated with this horrible season. I'm sorry for sounding so harsh but uggghhhhhhh I can't stand this time of year. One would think after dealing with it for so long, I would grow accustom to what comes along with this horrid season. However, I still cringe when the mere thoughts of another cold season is coming upon us. 70's and above for me please and I'm the happiest person alive.

Ahhhhhh how I'm yearning for a nice summer day right about now while the weather man is tracking yet another miserable wintery mix. As a child I was blessed with the option of visiting family during this time of year in the good ole Virgin Islands :) St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John, hell even the British Virgin Islands became my home away from home during winter recess and I lovedddd it.....Now that I think about it, these trips may be the cause for my strained relationship with my friend Mr. Winter.

Plans for a trip back home are sounding oh so good right now....My baby will be graduating elementary this year and maybe mommy will surprise him with his first trip down to Sapphire Beach.
