"Such a Slow Jam Lover....."

While cleaning I have my music blasting, courtsey of Music choice R&B Soul (For those not from NY...This is a cable channel here in the Bronx) I hear the voice of one of my biggest crushes, Howard Hewitt (lead male singer...SO HOT, LOL). This was suchhhh a hot song....Big thanks to my mom's raising me on some real slow jams!!!

  1. Growing up, I had this on a 45'. I would blast it and sing loud on my terrace. While singing one day on my terrace, my friend’s grandfather heard me and had the nerve to tell her that I was singing to his old ass, I was a fresh girl and to stay away from me. The only reason why I would sing that particular song on the terrace was because the climax of the song would have you sing so loud, and I didn’t feel like hearing my mother’s mouth telling me to shut up. But yes that was the jam back then and it still is one of my favorite old school jams. I love Shalimar.

    Funny story I went to highschool with one of his daughters when I lived in california.

  3. Zara - If you could only hear me singing my heart out last nite, LOL, LOL...You would've thought I was madly in love...This song was THE best & will forever be that!!!

    BB - Wooow, how funny is that...Was she cool? I wonder what has happened to Mr. Hewitt...I will be googling tonite, LOL, LOL
